After-School Activities | Les Coquelicots

A range of versatile activities broaden our pupils' horizons

Outside school hours, we offer children extra-curricular activities in French and German, ranging from active and creative to academic courses. In this way, children benefit from a balanced and familiar continuity of care and have the opportunity to try out new interests.

Our programme is designed to suit every child. Here's an overview of what we offer :

Coverage is 5 days a week and registrations are made in advance by term. We also welcome external children.

Meine 2 Töchter waren dort vom Kindergarten bis zur 4. Klasse. Sie haben sich in der Schule immer fast wie zu Hause gefüllt. Das Lehrerteam ist hervorragend und das Angebot sehr umfassend, vor allem für Berufstätige! Der Wechsel ins öffentliche Schulsystem erfolgte problemlos.

Super école de taille humaine, bien située récemment relocalisée dans un beau bâtiment moderne et accueillant. Les enfants ont de l‘espace et pour les pauses vont au parc voisin. Équipe enseignante très professionelle et mobilisée, faisant beaucoup bien au delà des cours : nombreuses sorties, classes vertes, projets, enfants impliqués dans une démarche ecoschool. Petit nombre d‘enfants par classe propice à un apprentissage optimal. Pour finir, enseignement vraiment bilingue allemand/ français et une vraie mobilisation de l‘ecole pour que les enfants soient intégrés dans la vie Bâloise : Fastnacht / fête des Lanternes...

An excellent bilingual curriculum in French and German with dedicated teachers and a welcoming environment. As expats from the US, it's been very rewarding for our daughters to learn the languages and the local culture.

Wir sprechen nur schweizerdeutsch und hochdeutsch Zuhause. Alle unsere vier Kinder besuchten drei Jahre lang den Kindergarten und haben eine wunderbare Zeit bei Les Coquelicots verbracht. Heute sprechen zwei der Kinder fliessend französisch, die beiden andere haben ebenfalls keinerlei Mühe den Französischunterricht an der öffentlichen Schule zu verfolgen. Alle vier Kinder sprechen akzentfrei!
